Well I am ok thank God but I turned over my brand new Marhindra tractor today . As soon as I jumped off I turned around and cut the Key off . I hope the engine will be ok. I do have insurance with 500 deductiable . I will have to wait for the insurace man to come look at the tractor before I can even move it . I did get a wrecker to turn it back over . The tractor does not have any damage to the body . The fluid ran out of the transmisson vent hole . The Dealer said not to even try to crank the tractor . The injectors will have to be taken out to relive the compression there is engine oil on top of the pistons . If you try to crank it it may bend a rod . Has anyone had this happen . I really feel stupid tonight but am thankfull to the lord I am OK.

Doug, Glad that you bailed off of the Marhinda in time to avoid being smashed. Could you let us know how you got into a positon to lay her on her side? Knowing how someone got into a situation could help the rest of us avoid the same predicament. Hope that the tractor didn`t incur any extra expenses getting her going again. That must have scared the bejabbers out of you. God will warn us sometimes and if we dont take heed the next time he slaps us a little harder. We are all thankful that you got out of it without a scrape.

In fall of 1979 I got a brand new IH1086. That winter we had a ton of snow and neighbor could no longer push the snow on driveway with his pickup. I went to widen it for him with 1086. Well I got to wide and 25 hr. $21,000 1086 on its side in ditch. I shut itdown right away and called crane to set up then called the dealer to ask what i needed to do they said to check all fuilds when upright. No damage to tractor and 8000 hrs. and 26 years later it is still running.I was 21 at the time and pretty dam upset at the time but lucked out.

I suppose the snow helped cushion the fall? I've never had any experience rolling one over, although I came close once with our Masey 285. I was chopping a little bit of hay and wasn't watching in front of me. End of the feild came up too fast and the front end went down in the creek, along w/ the left rear tire. The other was almost off the ground, so I just shut it down and told my dad the news. the next day he had the neighbors come out w/ both their big tractors, one tied to the right axle to keep it from going over, and the other on the draw bar to pull it out. Got about another 1500 hours on it since and it's still going strong.

I can not tell you the condition of being ok, but glad you are. Mahindra is a sub of IH made in India, very much like the older blackstripes with a few new goodies. I think they must have the casting molds sent down there to build'em. From what I have heard they are good tractors and fair on price. When you heard the clunk, did it come from the engine or someplace else? I really can't help you on this but we all would like to know the end result if you could keep us posted when you do find out.

Thank God for your safety and keeping you from any injury. Remember that He only made one of YOU and that factory probably made several of those tractors the day they made yours. Take care.
