crankshaft driven hydraulic pump shaft

i have an after market loader on a mf 65 the hydrualic pump that runs the loader is mounted on the crankshaft pulley the drive shaft between the pump and crank shaft striped out where it slides into the pulley i went to local massey dealer and the longest one the had was 13 1/2" mine is 17 1/4" my bosses newer model ford 7600 has the exact same shaft as mine length and spline he had to have his made at a cost of 500 i was wonderin if anyone new a tractor model that would have this length so the dealer could look it up any help would be appreciated

Kyler: You didn"t say how many splines. I have the 17 1/4 10 spline. Did you strip the spline or did you strip the coupling? The couplings are hard to come by. I have gone to the junk yard and picked up a couple of driveshafts for $10. I am going to make my own with my brother-in-laws help as he works at Hyde"s Equipment. If you want the 17 1/2 10 spline, let me know.

yes it is a 10 spline both arent totally stripped yet but both r very close i only took it out because the rubber coupler thing what ever ya call it broke i order one and it should be here tomorrow where are you located at and how much would you call me to make one on the drive plate my local massey dealer had them in a book and said he could get them he just didnt have a listing for that long of a shaft

I need to know what size shaft in diameter to make sure I have the one you need. I will let you have the one I have for $10 plus UPS shipping. I will need your address for shipping. I am located in Cheboygan, Michigan, which is at the tip of Michigan (1/4 mile from Lake Huron on US 23).

the shaft is 1 inche and the key way end is 3/4 it is 10 spline 17 1/4 inches long the parts came in and i put it back together sometimes ya just gotta make due when ya need to use it but the drive plate isnt messed up lucked out there i got some liquid steel and cover the shaft with it greased the drive plate so none would stick to it pushed it into to make some new splines and pulled it back out then let it set over night itll work for a while i would still like to have a back up thanks
