No obit was ever posted, there is possible proof he is still alive, posted on another board, records checked in the tri-state area, googled, phone calls made, no death of a John Fugit, or Bill Fugit in the last 2 years. I.D.F was so bad about not being able to tell the same lie twice, on 2 different discussion boards, and was caught doing it, more than once. Naw, he is still alive (the person), but the I.D.F. name is deceased, not the man.

If I remember correctly, The word "Fugit" in Latin means "To Flee or Fly", as in Tempis Fugit, which means Time Flies...

Every board I've ever been a part of has something like this that has happened.

The obit that was supposed to show up in the Jeffersonville Evening News never did...I found where he had posted on another board at least a day or so after he allegedly died...the fact that his home email is open doesn't raise any suspicions, but his work email at www.auduboncc.org is still open as well...and you know most employers don't keep dead folks on the payroll OR the computer system.

So I reckon we were played for fools. I can't blame anyone else, 'cause I took the bait myself. I guess Akmed ain't the only fella who can run a scam...

I am a network administrator for a small company. It is not uncommon for me to NOT turn off a mailbox when someone leaves the company. I try to go in and clean up on occasion but sometimes I find accounts that should have been turned off months ago.

Another thing we often do, is put the account as a second inbox on the replacement's account. In that scenario, a mailbox might be live for months.

I know IDF was in the office, being a small company, perhaps he was the administrator for their email system. In which case, it is quite possible, his mail account would not be terminated.
