Any one ever had to deal with the air shocks going bad on these? My thought is the Thunderbird would interchange but I'm not sure about the hardware. We just want to fix it and sell it without a great expense. I know they have conversion kits but at 600 dollars it don't make it too feasible. V6 motor is too good to waste.

I had a 90 Town Car (rear wheel drive) with the rear air suspension. Replaced them with coil springs - $75 for the pair and about an hour's labor. If yours is front drive, it may be different. What model car?

I also quoted replacement parts - like new airbags, compressor, air lines, etc. But you still have an old system prone to leaks or problems in the area you didn't replace.

Thanks neighbors. I knew something would interchange with a little modification.

I didn't explain myself right again. What I mean is I do not want to put the air shock type back on it as it would just be more trouble later on . I trying to switch over to a regular shock. Thanks

The ones off a T-bird will not work.
