I returned 12 days early from my moose hunting vacation because one of the other guys fell and is now crippled. That's another story however. I was putting the training collar on the dog and noticed fresh stitches and his testicles missing. Apparently she wasn't satisfied just having me done. Now behind my back, she did the dog. I'm going to have to at least sleep on my stomach now or in a locked room away from her and hide anything sharp.

You and Ole Rover might as well get your rocky chairs lined up. Sounds like old woman with butcher knife is in charge. To bad for you Mr. B&D.,I'm an old man and women still like what I have available.

If she done that to Ole Rover behind your back,no telling about some of the other things she has done.Sounds kinda like the Boston Strangler or that dude from UK that cut all those throats. Mr B&D want you get this in the news and pick you up a few dollars. The money won't get those round things back, but you can send your wife to seven mile island one way,and before she gets on the bus,y'all could give her like a good haircut and facial.

Hey have you put some little pink ribbons on Rover. Also you might want to question wife when she serves spaghetti and meat balls or meatloaf or breakfast sausage, like what are the active ingredients.

The way I see it, the wife had better be real careful when I'm away. Any new surprises showing up wont be mine!

Maybe the dog tried getting frisky with her while you were gone. Self defense.

A female colleague told this to an astonished group at a meeting:

A young woman brought her great Dane to the vet with the explanation that the night before while she was getting ready for her bath she felt paws on her shoulders and her pet mounted her.

The vet responded, "So you'd like him neutered, then?"

The woman looked very embarassed. "No, but can you do something about the claws?"

They say that getting neutered makes you hen-pecked. I'm here to say that that isnt true. We think it's the best thing I've ever done and I'm told that our se(x) life, although decreased, it better. I have such a great wife. She told me that the 30 pounds made me way more se(x)y as I was too skinny before. The only downside is that I just feel like snoozing on the porch.

I think your're confusing vasectomy with castration. There is a WHOLE lot of difference. James

I gotta agree with Jay, with the exception that my wife and I now spend a lot more time doing that thing we all like to do. Since I'm shooting blanks, she's not worried about that unexpected suprise, and is a lot more willing to let fly with it.

I would be afraid that she did this job knowing that there was still a 12 day recovery period, to see how active the dog would be. Guess that you are still too "active"..... Be very careful.

I'll be dog-gone!

Is the other guy permanently crippled or just a temporary injury?

Get a new dog with all the hardware as a present for your wife.

I know the difference between a vasectomy and castration. Why let that get in the way of a little story telling? The wife could never remember where she last left the remote control for the training collar. No matter how many times I told her to find it and leave it on the corner of the work bench. She wasn't much for charging his collar or remembering to put it back on the dog either. The dog on occasion would be in love with some visitor's leg. A tune-up every couple of months stops that problem. I think she's getting to that middle aged women mindset and jealous too. Like most other women her age, she likes holding a water hose for hours every week instead of just using a soaker hose or a sprinkler. P*nis envy I suspect. I haven't seen her yet since finding the damage but her explanation on the phone was. The castration is to prevent the dog from getting prostate cancer..... ..... ..... I知 going to use that pink ribbon and spaghetti question, good idea.

No moose, we never got left on the trip north to the airbase. We were waiting for the last member of our group to arrive before departing. He was hassled for an extra hour at customs likely because he was a hunter and had a rifle. No matter he was all legal and had the paper work. While we were waiting one of the guys went to get something from downstairs and missed step on the way up. I got his son to call 911 and kept the frantic women from moving his head/neck etc. He landed almost in the recovery position but was deeply unconscious. Knocked his hearing aids out too. Total muscle relaxation, snoring when breathing and no pupil response. His colour, circulation, and respiration were good however. After a couple of minutes he was almost like a computer re-booting after a crash. The snoring quit and pupils responded. Had me worried for a moment when snoring quieted, thought he had quit breathing. It was tough observing with the family being all over us. In 5-6 minutes he was able to wiggle toes and squeeze hands. Then he was able to talk but no had short term memory. He's been hospitalized and successive CAT scans show some bleeding on and in the brain. The nero surgeons decided they would do more damage than good should they attempt repairs. We have gone from Tuesday planning on a great holiday. Afraid the guy was dying. Then figuring he would be discharged ok in a couple of days. Then figuring he was going to die. Now there is cautious hopes for recovery with moderate long term damage. Subdural hematoma if I recall correctly. The next available date at the fly in camp is just prior to out Oct 10th Thanksgiving. Problem is I promised fresh, not frozen turkeys to my customers. I値l have drive up a 1/3rd of the way through the hunt and fly in. That late in the year back in the far north had us snowed in for three extra days the last time. We ran out of booze, smokes, and food other than moose heart and liver. We tired catching fish but they would hardly bite. We had one nice big fish on the stringer and headed into shore while still trolling. When pulling up the stringer we found just the fish痴 head. Seems the other guy left the stringer too long and the fish got chopped short by the propeller..... ...
