I have a photo of a circa 1950 IH Farmall cub that has "twinned" engines- 2 side-by-side engines & rads, dual rear wheels, one steering wheel. The tractor is white and I saw it recently (Sept /05) at a farm show in Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Anyone know more about this model? It was wearing a sign that said " Demo, twinned" I can't find any info about it.

Thanks, Thompson

This "tractor" was put together by by a handy collecter from New Brunswick. He is well known, and does excellant restorations. Apparently, everybody told him it could not be done, so he decided to prove them wrong. It looks very good, and is completely operational. It was shown at the Sussex, New Brunswick tractor show in May,2005.

First quarter production of 1950 produced "Demonstrator" Cubs. Painted white to attract attention. They were place with farmers by dealers to use for periods of time as a sales tactic. They were supposed to be repainted red by the dealers before being sold. I believe A's and C's were also a part of this program.
