I used to use the insect foggers, then touch up with Raid. Seemed to work fine.

While your feed'in them why don't you just tie one up too or several. I have no problem with hunting them but, geeze, bait? Is that how your forefathers did it?

Tell you what Ryan, got it about five times by yellow jackets this past Saturday when moved some railroad ties. The mean little bas....s love railroad ties, round bails of hay, and hate my guts, and my dog's too - got him today. Weren't just buried in the ground in some huge nests, but had a huge nest burrowed inside one of the ties, and after they calmed down and I dragged it about 50' away, then flipped it, that's when I discovered the nest (hive), and that's when they discovered me. Ouch, ouch, ouch. Rubbing on some meat tenderizer took most of the sting out, but 3 days later, still feel it. I cleared the tie, guess didn't get all of the undergrounders, this time.

Since above ground, can pretty much use over the counter wasp and hornet spray, shoots foam like 25', but can empties quick, so get a few. Some stragglers will hang around lost and searching for mommy bee a few days. There is a type of over counter dust you can get that have to stick a 1' tube up into the hive, and a couple of poofs, but good luck there. Whatever you do, do it a night or after dusk when they pretty much settled down and can't see very well when they come after you with a vengence. Also, have a escape route, you'll need it.

Can't get the real good stuff over the counter. For that, you'll have to buy a few beers for your buddy, the Orkin guy.

Mark

Buy a can of Raid and let'em have it. Even though the anti-wasp can specifically warns you not to do it, it's kinda fun picking them off on the wing when they come at you.

you didnt say what king of bees , but generally speaking, wait till night and fill a sprayer with gasoline and let they have it but good.when i do this i wear coveralls ,gloves and an old helmet liner with goggles.only way to get them all is to do it at night.works on ground bees too, just lay sticks during the day pointing out the holes so you can find them at night. lucas

Lucus it's around a deer stand you would ruin hunting by spraying gas around it , but go to farm supply store they have bombs that spray 25-30 ' this should knock the little SOB's down.
