I installed a new clutch plate, pressure plate and bearing. It still does the same thing. Whenever I push in the clutch about 3/4 of the way down, it grinds and bounces hard back on the pedal. The gear box seems OK because if it is in neutral I can start the engine and it runs great. I can also put it in any gear and push in the starter and it will move. I can push in the clutch in without the engine running and it seems to be OK. I can see the bearing push in the pressure plate arms. What can the problem be?

it sound to me like you release finger are hitting the clutch plate causing it to kick back the release bearing slides on a tube some time thies become dis lodged cusing release bearing to be miss alined. you could be pushing the release bearing in to far also
