just a heads up if you have her torn all the way down. i would check the 4 oil jets to ensure they are not pluged. i rebuilt a vh4d 3 years ago and found all of the jets resticted.

Do you know how to pull adaptor off back of engine that mounts up to Universal connection between engine and hydrostat drive?

Mag gear or cam gear? I would say probably not as most things between them were different. Someone at small air cooled engine dealer should know more. www.wisconsinmotors.com www.planopower.com

The cam gear and crank gear numbers match, but the idler gear numbers match all but the last part. One is B-1 and the other is GC-27-B-2.

Diannashearer,
Normally on Wisconsin parts, if the base part number is the same, the last number is an updated part. If they look the same and all the specs, seem to be the same, normally they will work. Jim
