Flywheel removal

Any advice on removing a flywheel that wont come off. Ive been lubing it for days before putting a puler on it. Im thinking about heating it up but dont want to hurt rear main seal.

some have one large nut and a taper loosen nut but do nut remove while prying outward on flywheel tap end of crank with brass drift and hammer

I'm not much help with that specific unit!

It may have a couple of dowel pins, and be tight on those. Have you tried rocking it loose, pushing and pulling on one side, then the other?

Also, SOME flywheels have a couple of threaded holes between the attaching bolt holes into which you can screw bolts "jack screws" to force it off. Don't know if that would possibly apply to the unit you're working with, though!
