Well guess what folks? After searching all over town and not finding one, I've decided to open up the first houtgasgenerator dealership in the Ozarks. Yep that's right, Old Harley is going corporate.

What you might ask in utter amazement is a houtgasgenerator? Well I'll tell you. It is a boiler type affair that burns anything combustable, wood, hay,(Ya like that's in plentiful supply this year), straw, etc, and then the fumes are drawn through a carburator on an internal combustion engine and wala, no more gas bills. Now all I gotta do is downsize this thing so I can pull it with the Harley. Akmed, Allan, Slo, Rusty, Krazyken, all you guys need to get in on this. It's the wave of the future now that fossil fuels have gone out of sight. Let me know how many shares to put you guys down for. Probably let the guy who buys the most shares name the company. Kind of a shareholder's incentive program. Man I scare me. This is gonna be big. Harley

Nice that you,re in for a dealership of houtgasgenerators. People may ask themselves: "OK, it produces gas to run an engiine, but why is it called a houtgasgenerator?" Well, it's a Dutch word meaning 'woodgasgenerator' since the Dutch word for wood is "hout"(pronounced as 'howt').Forced by petrol scarceness the device was widely used througout europe during WorldWarII to keep buses, trucks and cars going.
The woodgasgenerator which uses 'dry distillation' -> pyrolyse (=Latin for 'extract wth fire'). The same process occurs in any ordinairy fire, but then the produced gas is consumed by the flames.
Good luck with the project!
Greetings from holland.

Harley, You get one of those burners sized to run a V-2 and I bet you could sell a boat load of them at Sturgis next summer. Could I run a '90 F150 with an outgasser or would it be Found On Road Dead? (serious question) 'Puter would prolly shutter down. Ed

How about bird droppings? There is some guy from the edge of NE on the Implement page with a picture of his 2700.00 Macaw. I'd think that would be just like burning High-Test Ethel!

Reminds me of the story about the little old lady who bought the parrot from the pet store. The man at the store said it used to belong to a whorehouse, but they had to give it up. She brought the bird home and hung the cage in the living room and when the lady"s husband gets home the bird says""RAUCK, NEW HOUSE, SAME OLD CUSTOMERS, RAUCK". Worries me we haven"t heard from old Allan today. Oh well, he"s probably still out in the horsey coral getting acquainted with Old Flame. Harley

Akmed, you old camel jockey you, I am still your many best friend in the world. Your camels must not be doing too good down here. They are all brown like my pasture. They have been eating the leaves off the trees and the acorns don"t seem to bother them much till today when I found one building a nest about 30 feet up in a tree. Seems it was a tree camel. You know like a tree squirrel, and tree frog, etc. So with all the timber I got I think your camels should do all right after all. But one more thing. You can live on them, but they taste like sh1t. Can"t get anybody within 5 miles of our place with one of them on the barbi. Harley

Yep, I know Kenny, but if you go to a different post, either here or on the Farmall site, you"ll find that our old buddy is going to be a little busy these days. What with building the arena, building the new horsey barn and stalls, hauling and making (ya gotta love this part) those little square horsey bales of hay, hauling the horseys around the country to shows, etc.etc.etc. I don"t think he"ll even get time to grease the big red tractors anymore. So sad, and it was going so good for him too. Oh well, he tried, we"ll have to give him that. Harley

Harley, I worked with a Swede in the 70`s that told me of having a similar device on their cars that would burn wood with lots of smoke. They would run their cars on in in WWll when gas was hard to get. He said they had to clean their spark plugs every day so they could run it the next day. The way he described it, they were like large water heaters attached to the rear ends of the cars.

Hello Harley,
This thing has me very interested, when you decide to expand your dealership coverage area north, let me know. By the way, if your selling shares I"d like to buy $5,000 US dollars worth. What I"ll do is send you a money order for double that amount, you keep 6,000 and wire the rest to my off shore acount. That way you make a thousand dollar bonus. See what a trustworthy business partner I`d be:) Keep smiling Brokenwrench

Akmed emailed me with a proposal very similar to yours, and I just don"t think I can go wrong with this deal. Sounds good. Yes it will run on junk mail, junk tires, bullsh1t, just about anything. Ya old Akmed wants his money returned by next post. He don't know he's in this for the long haul just like the rest of us does he? He has to wait for his dividend check from the houtgasgenerator just like the rest of us. He's got the time, Allah has spoken so. Harley
