I am considering going hydrostatic Kubota 37 hp, but a super deal has come along on a super 3910 and I dont know much about these tractors. It might do for my 20 acres though, and would save me some $. I think I have out grown, {and aged } my 600 with no PS.
Can anyone give me a little advice?
thanks,
ken

I'll admit my bias towards Ford to start with then say I would choose the 3910 over the Kubota, all things being equal.

Check localy for owners of both on dealer support. I'm a Ford man but color is not everything. Just allowed my daughter to purchase a Honda Accord vs. an American "name".

I would choose the 3910. Good solid tractor.

I have had several different Ford's (2000, 3000, 8600, 5610, 7610) and all have been good tractors. I also have a Kubota 38 hp (I forget the model no.) with a shuttle shift and front end loader. It is a very good tractor. I understand that the hydrostatic is more comfortable to operate. The Ford is a more basic tractor, probably heavier (lb vs. hp) than the Kubota. The Kubota is easier to operate (shifting, etc.). Both good tractors. Good luck.

I a lot of City, County, and State crews use 3910's. Excellent tractors.
