Went to the grocery store today and found a porterhouse steak priced at $11.51 maked down to $8.06. It's still about 95 degrees here,in a couple of hours when the temp starts dropping ,I'll fire up the grill and throw that bad boy on. I've had a good day so far.

That porterhouse was probably marked down to cover the fuel cost to go get it. All in all I'd say you came out ahead and your still having a good day. I am too because its raining. God is good.
Ain't life wonderful!!!!! !!!!

Since I am now old and ugly it doesn't matter anymore. I'm glad to hear you're getting that rain, and for the hamburger, nothing wrong with that either. Saw a news clip this morning that our president said something about useing force to keep iran from finishing the nuclear plant or something like that. Be glad when 2008 gets here. y'all have a good evening.

Would you rather let Iran develop a nuke then try to negotiate terms? Wake up!

There's two sides to everything. Maybe they do just want a cheap power source,or maybe they want their own bomb. Other countries have nuclear plants and we don't accuse them of making a bomb. I am awake, but remember the weapons of mass destruction thing. Our leaders could have done things a little different. The main objective was to get what's his name out of power. Now look at all the grieving families who have lost loved ones. But then again I don't know,I have no control of what our leaders do, and I am thankful that some of the things that goes on over on the other side of the world is not happening here.

The steak turned out good. Got the discount cause it was cut a 1/4 on the tenderloin side and 3/4 on the other. The butcher was either having a bad day or was trying to train a new guy. I just kept the thick side on the hot part of the grill, turned out perfect. 20 oz. ate part tonight save the rest for tomorrow. We will never forget what happened on 09/11. And there's nothing we can do to reverse things. I still get angry thinking about it. When it happened we had many brave Americans there trying to save people. It was an act of war. Innocent people. I did try to help, I donated money and I cursed the enemy. They used our sources as a weapon, people caught off guard. Like the Pearl Harbor attack, even though they attacked us first, with the news media,it's making us look like the evil people. Thats my point. I just want peace in the world. Do you think that will happen as long sides continue to threaten and kill?

I had an awesome chicken greek salad. New place in town, already standing room only. Been waiting for years to get a good coney island resturant out here. I can't wait for 2008 either, hope the dems put up somebody good or Mcain changes parties. The Pentagon is sying we will be withdrawing from Iraq next year. Our cowboy says no? Nearly 2000 dead - for what? WMD? can't find em. Now we are spreading Democracy? Got a lot of places to spread it. There are very few real democracies in the world. None in the middle east. When this is done we will likely have an iraq run by iran. Doesn't sound like an improvement to me. Easy.

Newman, Peace is what we all dream of but we are in what they are calling their 3rd Jihad. Any thing that is not of their belief is at risk of attack. The radicals are the attackers and they will destroy the infidels. What can anyone do that is a Christian or for that instance, a non believer of their followings. I stood up against a bully once and let him hit me five times before I struck back. That isn`t weakness, that is stupidity. I got smart quick the next time someone tried that.

I don't know much about that religion. So the best thing to do is bounce on them before they bounce on us? I'll agree to that. So after afghanistan, iraq, and iran whos next ?

But the guys who hit us first, OBL - is still running around, apparently picking berries in Afghanistan / Pakistan, ???? Saddam was a thug, but had NOTHING to do with 911. We are in iraq because jr wants to prove that he is the MAN!

Thats true we all know,or at least the some of us know,or according to the news media reported that iraq had nothing to do with it. i think what happpened in that case was saddam did try to have mr. bush senior assasinated and thats when the pi$$ing contest started. All the facts I have collected is the one responsible for the 09/11 attacks is still hiding in a cave somewhere. I sure could have used some of that greek salad with that ole steak.
