Woke up this morning (5:00) and it is raining in SE Nebraska! Actually have about 1/2" so far and it looks like it may continue for awhile! We got a concrete slab for a porch poured yesterday afternoon, so this will help it cure out nicely. Also just started to put siding on the house - it will hold us up, but I'm not complaining!

We are totaly burned up here in southwest Missouri, they are saying maybe some rain this weekend, there are starting to chop corn in several places already. I noticed though it looked like there was two pretty good ears on each stalk in the low areas.

we got an inch & a half the night before but nothing this morning. Overcast and cooler. That sure was a million dollar rain.

Morning Galen;Glad you are getting that rain.Would you believe that here in La. we are dry and behind in our annual average? This hurricane season has been a busy one though, and the weather people are saying we should see much activity in the months to come.I keep telling the wife that when it does start raining we might wish it would stop.Have a Good Weekend and enjoy that porch! Kenny
