Hi, can someone help me ID and/or place a value on an old wagon in the vintage photo section.

Can anyojne post the picture here?
It has interesting wire spoked rims that I think came off an old car or truck since they have the V8 markings - like from a car or truck engine.
I'd like to know an approximate value since a neighbor might be interested in buying.

It is in good shape and all 4 ties hold air, the back gate swings open, no rotten wood.
Thanks!

I have an old (probably homemade)two wheel trailer that was my grandfathers,it has those type of rims on it. The tires are completely shot, the one I can read says 5-25 to 5-50 x 17. Does anybody know where I can find tires and tubes for this type of rim? thanks alot Mike

I wouldn't buy 17 inch tires for those wheels to use on a trailer, they are hi dollar tires. And the newer 17's are to wide for the wheels. If they are 17 inch Ford wheels, and you just want to put this trailer into service, all Ford F1 through F150 Trucks up untill 1997 used that same lug bolt pattern. But if you want antique 17 inch tires, do a search for "Coker tire".

Thanks alot Redmud I will try that. The only real attraction to those rims is it was Grandpas trailer. I inherited it along with his 2 allis Bs and some implements. Would kinda like to see it all back the way it was when I was a kid, but with a kid of my own now I can't always spend the bucks on this stuff. Thanks again. Mike

It appears to be an old lumber wagon that has had the skanes (sp) cut off and Ford car axles attached. Value? No clue.

Ford used that style hubcap from 1932-1935 on cars and pickup trucks.

Wheels look like the 1936 Ford V8 I had .
Wheels "disapeared" from farm many years ago.

If they are 16" wire wheels they are 35 Ford. If they are 17" they are 33 or 34 Ford.
