My rain guage showed 2 3/4" this morning, even the birds seem to be singing a happier tune. Spent Saturday and Sunday at Camp Creek threshers, hot, hot, hot, and dusty. When we pulled out Sunday afternoon the corn fields were looking very stressed, just wondering if s.e. Nebraska got any rain?

We got probaly a good inch yesterday in Bristol (IN), but today workin in the area of Bristol (IL), Yorkville, Plano, Sandwich, no rain, but saw a couple of good field fires. Is worse than back home. Rain must of jumped IL. from Iowa to IN. yesterday - sorry about that.

Mark

I'm here to help all of you out. Here in Tn it didn't rain for about a month and a half. The one week I took vacation it rained most every day. So, if any of you will pay my salary (Toolmaker ) I will be happy to come to your state and vacation again :)

Can't blame a guy for trying right??

Got 1.8" here in n.e.kansas, although some parts got as much as 3". It thinned out as it went south. We were needing it here, high 90"s and two days of 100 these last two weeks were taking it"s toll. Beans not yet knee high and trying to bloom.

You guys had to go and suck it all up before it reached SE IOWA.LOL It broke apart just before it reached us, another weak of this hot dry weather and we will be hurtin bad. Corn and beans looking amazingly well considering how dry its been, some of it has started curling this last week or so. Just have to wait and see how it yields....jim

Your right it broke up about a county away from us just as if it ran into a wall and couldn't get past it. We barely even got a sprinkle and we could really use a rain but it doesn't look very promising for the next week or so.

Well - we got .60 outside of Tecumseh. Not near enough, but we are thankful for what we did get. Next round is ours! 8^)

Yup, I had a little extra room on the trailer so I just loaded up that cloud that was hanging around and then unchained it when I got to Iowa. I couldn't haul all of the clouds, so I left the small one for you guys.

Nothing down here on the ridge yet outside of Springfield, Mo. Earthworms are following the armydillas just to get a hole started in the ground. Catfish have all hitch hiked farther south to find a drink. Still feeding hay, no grass left. Worth something to say we're in business I guess. We'll take anything ya'll can send us, Harley

.70 here in north east Kansas this morning. Had .65 a couple days ago so things look good at present. Not looking forward to the temps. the later part of the week if the forcasters know anything.
