I'm restoring a Case SC with very badly pitted sleeves what would be the easiest way to remove them?
Thanks Henk.

Rent a good sleeve puller from a rental place, or else take the block to an auto machine shop and have them pull the old sleeves and install the new ones. This is the 2 easiest methods, and the small expense will be worth it against the flustration and possible damage of halv a$$ do it yourself methods.

you will have use some kind of a puller. A plate no bigger than the outside dia. of sleeve with a hole in center at bottom. a piece of all thread though hole a bar at top blocked up off block so you can tighten nut on all thread and pull sleeve out.
