F-20 rear brakes

Hi guys!

Am wondering am restoring an F-20 Farmall and the one that I have only has one hand levered brake but am wondering if there is supposed to be two or what am kinda stumped.

HELP PLEASE!

We had an f30. It had a hand brake on the right hand side. It had a somewhat complicated cable system that would brake left or right when the steering was turned far enough. I believe I once saw a homemade left side brake. My best, Harry

No, there was only one. there was an option for a 2nd lever but I have never seen a factory one. Lots of homemade conversions though.

Thats news to me, Cowman. I"ve owned 4 different F-20s over the years, and they all had 2 handbrake levers except one that had a M type pump, Belden 5th gear, and foot brakes. Wish I still had that one.

F-20's came standard with 1 brake lever. They could be special ordered with 2, but not with pedals. If it has pedals, thay're aftermarket. I have a '28 Regular that has probably the same pedals.

Dad had an F-30 I believe it was a 39 and it had 2 levers one on the left and one on the right
