Just wondering how the rest of the world is making out. I feel bad for the folks in Florida getting hammered again.

But in my area we have had no rain since the middle of May. Have had rain all around .5 inches 1.5 inches, but the biggest we have had was 2.5/10ths. I am surprised my soybeans are still green.

S.E. Iowa...dry as a popcorn fart, and even the goats are fartin" dust.

0.2" about 10 days ago, and nothing for the 2 weeks prior. About an inch total for June.

Building a pond right now. Dozers are about halfway through 3 total days pushing. Figured that would bring on the torrential downpours, but so far nothing. NRCS guy says yesterday that there"s enough moisture to pack the dam...barely. If they couldn"t get done in less than a week he said for them to not even start.

Extreme northern IN here and if we don't get any rain real soon our corn is pretty well shot. A few tassels coming out and we are sittin in the 90's everyday and I can't even remember the last rain that amounted to anything. Had 2 tenths a few weeks ago and it didn't even uncurl the leaves. Second cutting of hay is less than 1/2 of what it normally is with no grass at all. I am afraid that the older more grassy fields will not even produce 1/8 of what they should! Seriously scary here. There have been a few showers that headed towards us but split right before hitting us and came back together right after us. Even those places are dry though.

I'm 10 miles south east of wasaga beach , Ontario. Its so dry here that while cutting hay today I saw all the grasshoppers carrying a bagged lunch while they crossed my field.

Maybe the remains of that tropical storn that's over Iowa will swing over the Great lakes and drop some rain. When it finally does rain it may not know enough to stop. Rain is about due as the winter wheat is getting close to harvest.

3-1/4" of rain since the snow melted at the end of April. It's so dry my dog stopped to lift his leg and I heard the tree say thankyou.

Went for a three hour bike ride yesterday Jimmy, and drove around dark clouds down in Arkansas, then up 65 through Branson, then to Springfield, and then home, and got about to Sparta, got drenched, two miles, it quit, and still didn't get any down here in the Christain County Desert. Still feeding hay. No appreciable rain since the first of June. Harley

No shortage here in Manitoba. Over a foot of rain since the first of May. Will be lucky to finish haying by October.

No rain in NE Colorado for weeks, but that is normal for here. 95 degrees every day. Wheat harvest in a week or two--that will bring rain.

VERY dry here in SE Nebraska. Haven't had any rain in July yet. Not very much in June, either. NEED to get some this week (hopefully tonight and tomorrow - 30% chance). Patures and hay are taking a beating. People don't irrigate much around here, but corn/beans/milo seem to be doing ok.

Plenty wet here in upstate NY and more on the way from Dennis I suspect. We had 5" from ts Arlene a few weeks ago plus about three from t storms that same week. Three inches from the last tropical storm fri. &
sat. for the two cylinder expo.

Here in central Madison County NY it’s plenty dry. I don’t think we’ve had a half-inch here at home since May if even then. Seems to rain all around us but I get home and its nothing but dust, dust, dust. I run my well out just about every day and have to let it recover overnight. Pond is dry as a bone.
Last year when I was building a polebarn it was just the opposite. Like working in a swamp. Rain was relentless. Go figure!
Tim
