Going to find myself in the London area a couple of times in the next month or so. Maybe Manchester at some point too. Any good agriculture/tractor museums, demonstrations, collections to see accessible by mass transit? Thanks to all in the UK in advance. Ben

I'd go see the Battle of Britain museum, plus some of the old airfields ,Biggin Hill, Kenley, Hornchurch. The old Eighth AF fields would be interesting. They are saving the old artwork the boys painted inside the buildings in WWII.

Don't forget Westminister Abby. That's where all the Kings are burried (stomp right on George V). The British Tomb of the Unknown Soldier it right in the front door (it's the ONLY tomb you CAN"T walk on). Gen John J. "Blackjack" Pershing's Medal of Honor is hanging from a nail on a post right next to it. Don't know of any "tractor" stuff, but there are several other sites to see. Changing of the Guard, Big Ben, take a train to Portsmouth Naval yards (Lord Admiral Nelson's ship, HMS Victory, is there). Several of the WW2 museums. Take the "Chunnel" to France. Tour the countryside (lot of nice folks there). Spent some time there while in the USMC Great country.
