This is how we are making hay on the ridge this year old buddy. With a semi. Only have to go about 10 miles, but it's worth something to say you're in business. :>) Harley

Don't laugh Allan, A few years ago when hay here was $100 if you could find it I bought hay from up by Chadron and had it hauled down. Delivered it was still under the market.

As dry as it is this year down here, thee old Brahma cross cows would eat them snakes, spit out the skins, and look for more. First of July and I'm feeding hay. Last year we pastured up through November. This is just pitiful. Harley

About 30 mi north of here and they have gotten over 10" since Saturday 3 miles south and less than 1/2" I must be living right because that little 104 odd acres I got looks better than I have ever seen it. The rain is all er nothin this year.
