I have a ford 601 workmaster that starts and runs great, until about using for 1 hour, the engine starts to run rough as if it isn't getting enough gas or mis-firing. It has new plugs and wires and points. Please help!

Sounds like you need to replace the coil. Pretty normal for a coil to act that way, run an hour or so then start to spit and sputter its almost always a coil going bad.

I would check to see how hot the coil is, assuming this is a gas, and then check fuel tank for debris, fuel lines, etc.
