Hi Guys,

Went out to the farm and snapped a picture of the haying process going on today. That little spec just to the left of the big single tree is a self-propelled New Holland swather.

Don"t keep posting pictures like that and let the secret out! That picture is prettier than 99.99999 per cent of the country that I have ever seen east of the Mississippi. This is why I love the High Plains.

Hi,

This is the best this country has looked since the early 50s. Grass is up to the bellys of those old cows and they just don't know what is going on. :>)

Normally, things are burnt to a crisp by now. :>(

Hey old buddy, we're getting what you had the last couple of years. Down here around Springfield, Mo it is the driest it has been since the thirties. Right here around Chadwick, I didn't even cut my hay this spring. It was about a foot high and very sparse. Gonna have to buy it all this year. We're about 7 inches behind since March. Oh well, got 27 out of 29 calves so far, no hits, no runs, and no errors, and it ought to be worth something to say you're in business. Harley
