Hi Guys,

Jumped in the old Chevy Pickup this morning and drug this old grain drill home cross country. Been on some roads I didn't even know existed. :>)

Now, to find out what all is wrong with the old sister; it's gotta sow 70 acres of alfalfa in two months. Feels good playin' with machinery again.

Good job Allen Jer

Think you left part of it back down the road somewhere Allen.There should be a walkboard on the back of it.Gotta have a place for the pretty gals to ride on and feed the last of the seed down into the seed cups.Well maybe they could just run along behind. Nice looking drill.

Hi MSB,

Naw, I unpinned the goofy things and threw 'em in the back of the pickup. It was a long way over there, the last three miles or so in here I had to be on the oil and didn't want those presswheels draggin' along and slowin' me down. :>)

It is a tired old planter, but I'll make it do want little I need done.

Allan,

"Gotta sow 70 acres of alfalfa in 2 months"

It should sow 70 acres a lot quicker than that.

Heck guys;

When my press wheels wore out I just tied a 4-4 and a couple of chains on and used them hn place of press wheels. Best stands I ever got.
