What should the pressures be when charging a 134 Auto AC system .Thanks

With a modern AC system with no expansion valve, the only accurate way to charge the system is to evacuate it, and then add the amount of refrigerant by weight specified by the manufacturer.

On many systems, adding a few onces beyond the amount that ends excessive clutch cycling will get you close.

Depends on outside temp. My "95 Bronco and my wife"s "97 Cavalier both run really high on the high side in summer, like 400+. They came from the factory that way, I checked them but did not add any freon. They say that the R-134 is a bigger molecule that tends to run higher pressures, but I don"t know. They need to be at least 30 on the low side to clear the low pressure sensor. Might want to get the service manual specific to your vehicle and see what they recommend. Brian

The system has 25 on the low side and 150 on the high side and is freezing up.Do I have too much in or does it need some more?

Sounds like it needs more. Is the compressor cycling on and off due to the low pressure sensor tripping off? What Bob said about adding enough to clear the sensor is a good rule of thumb if you don"t have a book. I would watch your low side gauge and determine where the tripoff point is and add enough to get a few pounds over that point.
