When I click on a site/path/button it turns purple showing use and remembers this showing I had already been there. Recently it quit doing the remembering part. If I click on something I can see it change colors, but when I come back it has changed back to it's original color.
Is something just turned off and/or how do I fix this problem?

In IE, go to the Tools menu, select Internet Options. Click on the General tab, then hit the Colors button.

Possibly, you have the "visited" and "unvisited" colors the same?

Being color-blind, I sometimes have problems with these sort of things. Takes some tweaking to get it right.

Mine only does that after I run CC Cleaner that removes all temporary internet files and cookies. If you are running something like Cookie Pal and it's automatically removing your internet history, that would explain it.

Of course if it just started doing it on it's own then that's another story.
