i get and fix junk lawn mowers i recently got one that has been sitting for 2 years the gas was drained before it was parked i got it running but i just cant get it running right it is a techcumsen 8 hp engine

Make sure that the head is tight. I have run into numerous push mowers and some riders that the head bolts are loose in them. They actually leak combustion and are hard starting. It is amasing when you tighten them up how good they run.

it ran fine when it was parked it just lost spark thats why it was parked thanks ill look though to see if the head bolts need tightining

i tightend the head up it was nothing reallt to speak of im gonna pull the carb apart tommrow and see what i can do
