Can any one tell me anything about the Massey Harris 444? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Are they worth any more than a 44?

good tractor but the trans. were weak to small of bearings on top shaft

Not too many built. Had one, hard to get on and off. Last of the M.H. line were the triples- 333-444-555. I think only about 5000 of them got build. Could be wrong though.

we have (had) 3 of them

#13 is here in our stable--- and ya unlucky13 lol

they are fancy 44's.. nice paint nicer powersteering-10speeds instead of 5 and the 272motor ( 260 on seroids)
and the seat was nicer than a 44 ( same as a 44special) 44specials had the 272 as well.

the top shaft was week because it was out of the oil and the bearings were therefore poorly lubricated--- (

My dad has one with a 318 chrysler v-8 in it,and the radiator is bad.What other model MASSEY tractors shared the same radiator?
