Dang it Allan, you left the gate open again. We don't need that stuff now here. Been 90s, now it 46 degrees and even the corn plants are shivering. Supposed to get up to a blazing 59 today. My muskmelons never will come up.

Hi Ol' Pard,

Same way here; 46 and been rainin' all night. We've just forgot what a "damp" sping is around here, so we gots to 'readjust' our thinking. :>)

I know it is too much to ask, but sure am hoping that maybe we've turned the corner on this dry cycle. I know, I'm probably dreamin'. :>(

Sure is nice to see the green again, tho.

Allan

The old timers (not older than me, but smarter than me because they did not get edicated like me) say a drought is 3 year, plus 2 coming and 2 ending. So we should be over. Signs look that way to me and I lived through the 30s. Funny about that 2+3+2...isn't that 7? Seems like I heard about 7 years good and 7 years bad some place.
