Hi: Can any one direct me how to get the air out of my ford diesel injector pump..I have a 420 backhoe with a 3cyl. diesel eng. I beleive its a 1974 -5..I changed the fuel filter and mistakenly bled the bottom of the canister but not the top and introduced air into the injector pump..can anyone tell me how I can remove this air and where the bleeders are located on this injector pump..Thank you for your help in this matter....Bob

I cannot get all the air out of the fuel injection of my Iseki TL2300F. I have primed it to the intake line at the pump. BUT I do not get fuel out the pump to the injectors. Is there a bleed screw on the pump?

Bob,if it has a Simms inj. pump and you have filter full of fuel there is a small bleed screw on the side of pump.Open till fuel runs out/no air.Try cranking,if it won't start you will probably have to loosen inj.lines at injectors and get air out.Tx Jim
