The Icemen cometh. lol Do a search on the icemen or ice saints. Old folk lore that Dad used to talk about. We always said May 11,12 13.

You betcha!

Everybody likes it except the derned State guys (just about caught his plow).

Anyway, we think of it as money falling from the sky and can always cut hay this fall sometime just before winter sets in. :>)

Baling hay out here today (West Central Arkansas). Rain for the weekend, then start cutting again the first of next week. This is why we left Pennsylvania behind a few years ago! To much cold weather!

Allan, I remember on May 8,1992 we had sleet & snow in South Carolina. 60 miles up the road ,in Pisgah Forest, NC they had around 60 inches of snow. I had a new 4X4 pickup, & drove up to try it out the next day..... One of the wildest things I ever saw.. By then it had warmed up into the 50's & hundreds of people were there skiiing & sledding..

Here in central Nebraska, we've had several tornado warnings from east of Grand Island to North Platte and Hastings had 3" hail. Started in about 3 this afternoon.

Hi Nick,

Yes Sir, it hailed all night here last night; probably the same system comin' thru to you.

Wife was all worried about the new paint on those tractors settin' outside.

I mentioned something about a new machine shed and that really shut 'er right up! :>)

My sister over in the high country of Colorado just told me that it is snowin' like the devil over there too.

Allan

Glad I got outta college at Hastings Tech last week. 90% of the windows at Hastings College are gone according to the news. The pics they had were pretty bad. So far all we've got up here is just rain.

Here in SD, tonight's low is forecast for 33...with tomorrow's high at 39!
Wife is at school down at Texas A&M for a month, and just talked to her, and it was 92 down there.
Sister in Law from Springfield, Mo just emailed that it was 89 there today.
Just about makes a fella think about shuffling south...just about...not quite!
