I"m working on a late model John Deere 4020. When I engage the PTO and drive the tractor hydraulic oil comes out of the rear most clutch housing. The oil is not coming out of the piston pins that engages the hydraulically engaged PTO. The oil doesn"t just sift,it drips steadily. Does anyone any other ideas?

Sometimes the bolts that hole the piston plate on, are screwed down too much. This warps the plate just enough for a seep, or sometimes more.

Could the casting with the little pistons in it be cracked? I don't recall exactly how the pressurized oil gets from the PTO valve in the dash, down into the flywheel housing, and into the casting with the 2 "apply pistons" in it... could there be a bad "O" ring or oil line in that area?
