I have a ford 3000. When I try to raise the three point, it goes all the way up when the lever is about half way. Then when I lower it slightly whth the handle, it drops the three point completly. It does not seem to matter what I do with the "flow control" up or down, It seems to work the same.

Your Hydraulic system is probably in draft control setting instead of 'position' control. There should be a selector on the right side of the transmission housing down below the seat. It should have two settings,'draft' or 'position'.Position makes the lift arms stay where ever the lever calls for. Draft is for keeping an implement a certain depth in the ground. Some later model tractors have two separate levers on the lift quadrant to accomplish this but I am thinking the 3000 has one quadrant lever and the select lever on the side.

Thanks for the reply. The lever does not seem to make any difference. In the up or down position it acts as though it is in the draft position?
