Another vote for gas probs. Should get a good stream of gas at the carb from the fuel line. If thats OK then the carb is dirty. Disassemble clean, blow out every little hole you see with compressed air. Reassemble. Get the lawn mowed.

How old is the gas? Did you check to make sure both plugs are tight?

Sounds like it is starving from fuel for one reason or another. Filter, fuel line, nedle and seat, or main jet. Just my .02

I have the same problem on mine every year....your carb is dirty.....drain the float bowl.....take out the 4 torks screws on top of the carb and remove the top.....this has the float and needle and seat.....spray the inside of the carb with carb cleaner..... blow all the little holes out good....spray the float and the needle and seat.....

that should take care of the problem.....
