New record low of 28 this morning. Lots of frost. Our average frost free date here is April 20. Guess all lsigns fail sometimes.

You're right. More extreme fluctuations (hotter, colder, bigger storms) in the weather is exactly what is predicted with global warming or climate change.

Care to quote any sources that say it is not real ? I'll put my money on NASA and NOAA.

My only comment is that they have managed to politicize the weather. There would be no federal grant money available to study it otherwise. As for me personally, I've been waiting for the effects of it for some time. I'd like to be able to plant 105 day corn.

50 miles south of Fort Worth,TX. Got down to 45 degrees this morning, but that isn't my worry. We only got .16 inches of rain in April, the driest April since record keeping started in the late 1880's. Looks like a long HOT summer and with those we can expect lots of grasshoppers. They ate us up for 5 years starting in 1997.

Priest River Idaho 22 deg @6am. 17 deg yesterday at the same time. Partly cldy and beautiful for this time of year. Need rain real bad though !

25 here and the alfalfa don't look near good as it did a week ago. I think the dam deer are eating it faster that it can grow.

Here in Missouri they are talking about frost again tonight and it has done that a couple time last week sure glad I haven't got my garden out yet
