i recently bought a ford 901 powermaster at an estate farm auction. It has been completely restored, painted and runs like a top. Im trying to find out what the value may be. It has the original row cropper front end (tricycle). Somewhere between 1955-1959 model. thanks for th help.

What did you pay for it? By definition, that's what it's worth.

I've seen them sell for as low as $1800 for a running but kinda rough looking, on up to $4000 if all the stars align just right.

Wouldn't it need to be newer than '57 to be a 901???? Older & it would be a 900.....

So, which tranny does it have, live pto, etc.? What is the middle number of the model (961, 971, 951, etc.). Which engine, gas or diesel?

Model & serial number are hand-stamped on the left side above the 2 mounting holes - below the air cleaner on a gas engine, possibly eaten away below the battery of a diesel....

A 961 in great shape would be 3500-4000, an SoS 971/981 would be $2500 or less around here, for a general range.

I'd say $3500 in my area (W. Ky.) give or take $500.
