Bias ply tires pulling a heavy draft load with a 2WD ay 3 to 5 mph. 115 to 145 lbs per pto HP. At rest/parked, 35% of weight on the front axle.

I'm going to ask a dumb question here, but does the ballast you're speaking of include the weight of the tractor? +/- 130# per HP sounds like a lot to add to a tractor. Thanks,

Total tractor weight. Tractor,driver, fuel and ballast combined. Stats are from Firestone Tire engineers after spending thousands of hours and hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'll take that test data over "Buba's" opinion down at the diner.

After all one engineer would never point out that their may be some intelligince some other that their sterile controlled conditions cause us dumb farmers dont know nuthin
