F/U to Ford 8N dies

I will check the condensor/coil like recommended. If I was gonna hot wire it like suggested to trouble shoot the electric then how would I do that??? Also, is there any possibility problem could be temp related to the thermostat or something???? THanks for all the great advice.

Run a jumper wire from the negative terminal of the battery, IF it is still positive ground, to the post on the coil that isn't connected to
the points. Thats HOTWIRED Are you sure its
getting gas?? If it will start up after waiting
about ten minutes, it might be starving for fuel
Next time after it quits, pull that plug out of the bottom of the carb it should run a good stream.
If it doesn't take off the fill cap if it runs then
your vent is plugged. If it doesn't you line is
probrobly semi- plugged . You said you changed
the filter, Do you mean the carb inlet elbow filter, or do you have another external filter?
