Com'on Allan. You were my hero! One lone man standing against the societal and domestic pressures of going horsie. A determined man, who knows his own strength, his own self worth and refuses, regardless of the consequences, to give in. A man of conviction and principals! A man of cows and crops and tractors (albeit RED tractors!). A man of pride and virtue! And now your gonna give it up cause of $3 gas? I've seen that fat wallet of yours, $3 is nothin', Allan, nothin' to a man of your financial means. Don't give in to the societal and domestic pressures Allan. For the love of all mankind, DON"T GIVE IN!!!

Your faithful follower,

Dug

Howdy Allan,

This idea could be great for our struggling farm. Horse folks far outnumber those with cattle when it comes to my square baled hay customers. I'd be happy to add a few more to my list. And with my hopes of someday distilling my own fuel I'll have plenty of nearly free fuel to run my old "all-fuel" john deeres so my hay production can continue to supply the new "horse" powered traveling public. ha ha. God bless ya buddy.

As a 30 year veteran of being married to one in the horse business, I can honestly say I have never seen a horse as a less expensive aternative to ANYTHING.

So what kind of front end loader are you going to put on your horse? Make sure you dual up those front shoes or there will be compaction problems to pay for. Know where you can get enough alfalfa to feed all those horses? "AND" What direction will you aim the exhaust flapper Allen?!?!? :? )

Maybe not a bad idea, let the horse graze on the lawn, you won"t be able to afford the gas for the lawnmower either.
