I'm looking at a 2520 gas tractor. When the tractor is cold it seems to start normally (starts good but cold blooded). When the tractor gets warmed up though it dont seem to start any better, in fact may be a little worse. You would think it should pop right off after it's been running a while. I know it probably needs a tuneup but would this be carb problems? Thanks in advance.

A tune up may fix the problem, weak spark makes for weak start

Could be a temperature sensitive failure in the condensor or coil.

If I define "warn up" and getting hot, it is possible that a gas line might be getting hot, vaporizing the fuel and forcing it past the needle valve flooding the engine. Is there a lot of black smoke when it does start hot?
