Removing calcium chloride from tires

Bought a nice 1954 Fordson Major diesel, but it leaves deep ruts on the lawn and wife is frowning at me. Guess what - it has CC in the rear tires. If I empty them out I will lose 600lbs which will help.
I am more concerned about the long term corrosion effect of CC on the rims - if I drain the stuff out, will corrosion happen faster than if I just leave it in there and put up with glaring wife for a few more years? Advice appreciated - thanks.

Turn the wheel so the valve stem is on top. Let the air pressure out and then slip a small hose over the valve stem. Turn the tire so the valve stem is on the down side or there abouts and the fluid will drain out nice and slow. When your bucket is full, turn the tire so the valve stem is up and it will stop flowing.

Draning the calcium from the tires won't make any diffence in how fast the wheel corrodes. If it has had a leak in the past and wasn't cleaned up good before it went together, it will rust out. If the calcium hasn't ever touched the rim then it won't rust. As was said when you pull the plug the calcuim will shoot a really good stream so watch where it is pointed and the wind. You can slip a small hose over the end of the valve stem after you pull the plug to control the flow but it is messy and you will probably take a bath in it. Also be sure to rinse everything off with fresh water when done.
