harley, are you the reason I could not buy that 2 or 3 year old Kobuta with a loader & gannon for $4000 delivered? What little faith you have. Question I have to ask "Are there really people out there who believe that you can buy a $15,000 tractor for $4,000 and then have it delivered free"? I saw the ad for the 4020, but when I went back to look at it it was gone. Maybe I can read the next one posted if I am fast enough.

Well, I love a bargain as much as the next guy, and the ONLY reason I'm not buying it now is the shipping- the Fex Ex gal on my route is really cute, but not nearly husky enough to handle a box containing a 4020. It just wouldn't be fair to her, for my selfish order to the be the thing that puts her in traction for months. Darn. Sometimes my scruples really get in the way of good money-making opportunities.

Sorry Guys, this is a scam. Someone figured out this person"s ebay password and logged on. Change the bank account, and posted a too good of a deal auction.

I"ve seen it with New Holland TC series tractors on eBay.

Best thing to do is email support at ebay and tell them the auction item number.

Sam

He must have found someone that needed a back-haul, and got cheap shipping. 4020 from London special this week $19.95 Do they really think we are that stupid?

Should I will ask him if he will take cash on collection, as I only live a few miles down the road?
Regards, RAB.....

On second thoughts, I will see if I can go and have a look at it before bidding!

Sure is! Tell him that a friend of your in England is going to send him a bank check for 3 times the selling price and to have the seller sent the excess funds back to you immediately as you need the money to have emergency surgery to save the life of your wife's boyfriend's sisters's mother who is in the hospital with prostate cancer. Tell him the situation is dire but with his help she will make a full recovery.

PS Sometimes I crack myself up!

A 4020 in London. Sounds like a deal to me. You better jump right on that one, I'll bet he throws in the London bridge just to sweeten the deal a bit. Wow, why can't I ever run across deals like that? You'd better hurry or ol' Akmed will be all over that one. Wait a minute, the sellers name wasn't Akmed was it?

Hey Rusty, how can you have such little faith in your fellow man? I have bid on this fine gentleman"s tractors for two weeks now, both the Kubota and the fine little 4WD deere and that nasty old Ebay cancels the listing and my bid every time. Even got some email from the REAL lister"s user name saying it wasn"t them. Poor guy is just trying to make a buck. Ya gotta admait, hacking somebody elses user name, inserting a picture of a tractor that you don"t own into that listing, and then getting the whole thing to work is a quite a feat. I have trouble listing my own stuff, under my own user name, on my own computer sometimes. Certainly shows iniciative huh. Later, Harley

Harley, It is indeed ironic. If I knew half as much about computers as these hackers, I wouldnt need to run a scam as my services would be in demand all over the world.

You do make a good point, maybe we should take up a collection and send it to this guy, just to commend him for his efforts, you know, sort of like putting a quarter in a jar.

Hey Rusty, I caught your subliminal message there, and I have already donated, but have yet to see any return on my investment. Sure would like to see a real live horsey someday. I member what they look like, but now all I can afford in that line is the one uptown in front of the Wally World, and the greeter won"t let me ride it anymore on account of I fell off a couple of weeks ago and it almost drug me to death till he came out and unplugged it. Real close call. :-) Harley

You people are ruthless skeptics. I heard from a "very reliable source" that this tractor was only used by a little old lady who farmed by 100% miracle till (less work than even no-till) and drove it to church; which wasn't often on account of that she was an atheist. How can you people resist such a deal?? Only your loss. If I had any money I could not resist bidding.:) best, Phil
