Another good one to try in Kansas if close to there. Ask about their blemished tires or specials. Bought some from them before and even with freight was less than local on big rear tires. May not be on smaller ones like you want though.

Firestone still has the turf or diamond tread if you want that. Site gives you an idea of what is available. Find a local dealer for them.

Look locally. Shipping will kill any 'deal'.

Miller will deliver if they happen to come to any farm shows out your way during the year. They & Tucker are good for research & locating diffiuclt sizes/ collector matches- original patterns, but for fairly standard working tires shop & buy locally - that will end up being the best deal.

I assume you haven't bought the tractor yet, so you will spend about $250 each for the tires & mounting - if that is all you were wondering.

I forgot, the 3000 you are looking at has turf tires. You might need to buy different rims to make ag tires fit - often the turfs are real different rims, ag & turf tires come in different sizes & don't always work on the same rims. Something to check into.

Since you are planning on mowing 40 acres with this tractor, the turf tires would be what you want anyhow?

I found one through this board a few weeks ago- I'm in Washington, tire was in the midwest- the seller looked into shipping, and as I recall it was going to be close to $200. So much for that project.

That is pretty much what I have found. Any savings you get from buying on line is usually eaten up with the shipping. Nothing wrong with shopping on line, but find a dealer close to you and then go get the tires yourself.

I have had good luck with both Miller Tire and Tucker Tire. Hope the links work!

Around here, most tire shops (well, not counting the "big chains" like Discount, NTB, etc.) either carry or can get tractor tires.

I've also heard good things about Tucker Tire... They advertise on eBay quite a bit, too...

I just bought 3 - 38" Rear tires and 3 front tires from Discount tire for $960. I thought it was a good price. Miller quoted $1356 with shipping included.
