JD GW TRACTOR FRONT END

I"EM LOOKING IN TOO BUYING A GW TRACTOR . BUT THE OWNER WANTS TO KEEP THE WIDE FRONT AXLE THAT IS UNDER THE TRACTOR NOW .THE TRACTOR HAS THE SPLIT FRONT END . I WAS WOUNDERING IF THE SINGLE FRONT END ON A MODEL A WOULD WORK ON THIS MODEL TRACTOR . ALSO NEED HELP FINDING A FULL SET OF SHEET METAL FOR THIS TRACTOR.

as and owner of one of those type GW's
I know the wide front from an A is not the same.. but I think the single narrow would be..

and A's widefront can be made to work on a split pedestle G as I have seen LOTS of them done that way. They are not the same..

I am thinking the A single tire might have a smaller tire.. other than that I would think there might not be any difference in it.
