I have a chance to buy a really nice 4400 hour 1972 2520 gas with dual hydraulics. The sheet metal is mint - not a ding or any rust but has had some spot touchup rattle can painting done. All of the original decals are still visible though. Front end is mint solid. Still has unblemished foam under hood too. On a scale of 1 to 10 it's a strong 8-9. Would be a 9+ if old guy hadn't painted over anything. What the heck would this be worth??? He wants $8000 for it. Please help!!! Thanks. Dan

One sold at the Columbia City IN Sale sat for $9500. I gave it a 10 rating. It was a sharp looking 2520.

I don't know. 2520 prices have been going up and up $8000 might be in the ballpark these days. Where is it located? I may be interested if you're not.

Boy Dan,

Except for that gasser part, I think he is right in the ballpark; they are one heck of a handy tractor.

But, you know how gassers are; about every 5,000 hours they need to be flipped.

Dunno,

Allan
