Many thanks to the folks who offered suggestions in response to my 3/21 post about removing paint overspray from a car. I tried the spray-on tar remover which didn't seem to do anything. Then I got a clay bar cleaner and did the whole car this morning. That stuff is amazing. It required little effort and instantly left the car's finish as smooth as glass. I highly recommend it, and will probably use it on a few tractors also.

You can get the claybars on eBay. They also work for removing overspray from brand new very expensive lineless bifocals.

Don't ask!
