Do ya wanna come down and help calve in the mud? Might be just the taste of ranching you need to make you appreciate internet sales. I've got a calf laying in the shop in front of the heater and when he gets so he can stand I'll take him back to mamma. And my coveralls are in the washing machine.

But NO the cow didn't want nothin to do with the bugger. But she did cooperate enough that she is shut in the barn tonight. Another cow had hers in the mud too but I got her in and she got him going without any help. But I have been out fighting cows all day, must of walked a million miles in my muddy boots and I ain't leaving my chair if the house is on fire.

3/4 in here NE KS, started in Dec. 80 some on the ground and still kickin. We wont talk about the ones who arent kickin! Dont usually calve all winter but I bought bred cows in the fall to graze on all these corn stalks. Also thought it would be a better way to market my hay. Sold a few, pairs seem to be fairly hot this spring. Lots of nice pairs left if anyone is interested.
Matt
