Have this tandem stock trailer and bein it's rainin out I decided to replace the running gear today.

It's a tandem and in the center link both front and rear springs are connected to the same point, do I have to jack the whole trailer up level, remove the wheels, then jack it down and let the axle hubs rest on the floor for best results, or can I put the jack under one end of one axle at a time and replace things that way?

Thanks,

Mark

Mark;
I swapped in a heavier set of axles under the travel trailer last summer and found it easiest to support the trailer frame on stands, remove and replace what ever is required. Leave the final torquing of all components until the weight is back on the wheels. Hope this helps. Good luck. Roy

Seems like it'll work best if you get pressure off everything at one time. Had forgotten about my stands. Have 4 which will work just fine.

Thanks,

Mark
