I'm considering a Farmtrac 300DTC. It seems like a lot of tractor for the money compared to JD, NH, etc. They have a Mitsubishi 4 cyl diesel and are part of LG Industries (South Korea). My worry is parts and service. Anyone out there have one and what is your experience with this tractor? Thanks Dave

I dont have a Farmtrac, but there is a dealer near me and the mechanic there says the Korean Longs have a low rate of return for warranty and other repairs. Two neighbors have Farmtracs and are pleased with them. I have installed loaders on a couple of them for the dealer and the tractors seem to be well made. I could easily be spoiled by the electric PTO switch. Good luck. KEH

Dave, We sell a few as a budget alternative to our Kubota line...they ARE alot of tractor for the money, and have good service/parts availability, IF your dealer is experienced and makes a commitment...the best dealers are those that have been dealing another line for a long time, the problem is that sometimes Long tends to set up used jockeys as dealers, and they really have no parts/service infrastructure in place.
