That happened to me last week as I lost out on an item in the usual last milisecond of bidding. I lost out by 25 dollars on a two thousand dollar item and I was literally besieged by emails from some ebay entities saying I had a "second chance" at the item. I not only found out that this was a scam, but two days later I recieved an email from a supposed winner of a cell phone I was supposed to have sold him for 500 dollars, and he wanted his money back for the cell phone. I've never sold anything on ebay, nor has the thought ever really crossed my mind. The emails look real so look out!!

Old Akmed"s English seems to be getting worse instead of better. Perhaps you could work out a trade, whereas you give him English lessons in return for a used Skid Steer.

Might be fun to play along for awhile. From the sound of it, the guy who contacted you does not own the bobcat. I think he is trying to sell something that is not his to sell.

If they would just catch and castrate all these scammers with a chainsaw the blight would soon come to an end !
